1.Which building typology you are researching?
Answer: I would like to researching a type of library for young kids who inspired architecture, for an architect students, a meeting place for professionals, teachers and for everybody.
2.Why are you researching this building typology?
Answer: Because I have never see any library specifically for an architect student. Or I could say, I like the Center For Architecture, but it could be better if it had library inside, computers, drafting tables ...
3.What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research?
Answer: Library for Architecture
4.What are the examples that you will be researching, list the examples?
Answer: I would take a look at library (public/school), school of architecture, small exhibition and small offices.
5.What are you goals for working with this building type?
Answer: My goal is to get understand more about public space.
6.What are the program elements that you see included at this point in your building? (may evolve once more research is done)
Answer: Public space !?
Public lectures, interaction between students and professionals, community outreach. These might be other areas that could be incorporated in this building typology. I would look at the Center for Architecture website and calender of events. There are other architectural centers throughout the world.
